As both an artist and designer, I approach life as a constant source of inspiration, humor, and enthusiasm. Much of my work is created from repurposed items along with fabrics and stitchery. One of my favorite quotes from Emily Dickenson is “Dwell in possibility.” Seeing the possibility in what someone else has cast off, making connections between what is and what might be, guides my life. Handmade books from old tins, soft music boxes, a stitchery of a cloud, bamboo shoot giraffe heads, to a contemporary herm, there is no limit. Creativity is not a thing that comes and goes. It is a way of life.
